Don't be so sure. it's rather subtle but that's where the difficulty lays. It's not a 'theme' razor but it does have it's characteristics none the less. It's more a study in control.

So did you just heat the old scale up and kind of melt it into a the shape of the spare part? Assuming you used devcon plastic epoxy
to glue things up right?

Oh no. Bakelite doesn't really melt the way a plastic would. I sculpted (?) it into that shape. Devcon was used in what were basically half lap joints. I think everything else will break before this will.
