I've just received mine. After only one use, I can say without a doubt that 1. 2.5" is my favorite width and 2. This will be my favorite strop and my Go-To strop for a long, long time!

More complete review after work today, but this thing is sweeeeet

Sweet! Did you get the cordovan or spanish leather one? After using my Spanish leather one for awhile I'm really starting to think I would like to try Jose's cordovan as well (SAD setting in...). Very high quality strops and I love mine!

Good thing I don't have a No.1 strop... Yet... The one I use most is a Kangaroo strop, then SRD English Bridle tied with Tony Miller Horsehide... My SRD modular paddle... An antique Loom strop... Tony Miller's latigo... Another Roo strop...

I have strop problems.

Spanish leather! - Suavizador del número uno! - Number one strop!!....

Got the Spanish Horsehide... Planning on Cordovan as soon as funds allow! Fan-freakin-tastic strops!
