Almost afraid to ask about these blades...

I finally ordered some Gem Personna blades for my Gem type razors. I'd previously only tried the unsatisfactory Blue Star blades.

Well, I hope I ordered the right blades.

Listed as manufacturer's part number APBL-7063-0000.

If these are acceptable, great. If not, then I'll have plenty of blades for whatever it is you can use razor blades for.

If these are correct, then I'm getting them for $27.20 and that includes shipping.

Yeah, that’s a good price. Last ones I bought from Connaught Shaving was around $24 but their shipping has gone up, I just checked and they’re right at $30 now.

FWIW the Blue Star and the Treet carbon steel blades, both of which were made at the same ASR plant and were likely the same blade, were my favorites for many years. They became harder to find and the last Blue Star blades I bought were rusted when I opened them, probably from being stored in a humid warehouse so I just gave up on them and stick with the stainless ones.

I never cared for Blue Stars either.
