I only need a 195 to make a full sweep of Gillette adjustables.

A special thanks to amishmotorboat for giving me the heads up on the auction for the red dot.

Nice snag. I am pretty sure I know what auction you bought it from and I think you got it at a really good price. Very nice score!

I have to stop coming to this thread. I keep learning about new things and then become inflamed with AD for them. I must have some of that Laudanum soap! I went to that vendor's store and they were sold out though...

I spoke with the lady who runs the store yesterday, she's going to whip up a couple batches after the 4th of July weekend in hopes that my review will spark a run for it. The scent is absolutely amazing, and a great looker in the den as well! :thumbup1:

Got my small order in from West Coast Shaving just a bit ago.

So I picked up almost a case(10) of these Pyrex jars with lids that are either aluminum or stainless steel(a magnet barely sticks to them). The jars are just marked:
"PYREX
USA"
and are ~7" tall and ~3" wide at the base and just over 2.5" wide at the mouth. I will probably use them for Barbicide dips, but I have no clue what they are used for normally. Any ideas?

I'm going to say that these are used to store and display samples of alien life forms or other kinds of cryptids.

The mailman brought me a bottle of Gentlemen's Best "Chilled" aftershave and a shaving stick. They smell great--I could kick myself for not ordering the Signature Series cologne too.

I know, it's just a Super Speed, but I was amazed by the condition of this W coded 1951! I wonder where it spent the last 59 years. And for only $12.50 too.

I feel lucky as most of my red cased SS razors aren't nearly this nice. No clean-up required.

Please PM me if you'd consider parting with one.

On the left is a 100ml bottle, on the right its a 188ml bottle (just there to show the size of the telescope) and the Telescope is 170ml (has plenty in but not too sure how full it is)

This small score waited for me when I returned home from vacation :001_smile

* Custom made Silvertip with green flecked marble pattern handle.
* Edwin Jagger Pure Bristle with faux tortoise handle.

That SS is amazing! Looks like it just came off the production line. Nice find!

So it's been about two weeks since I went to my normal Saturday flea market, since my throttle has been sticking open, so I have been sticking to my local one. But it has since cleared up. So I hit my local one to pick up some Zippo's, then went to my other. I was walking, and little to no luck razor wise. Then, I hit one of my usual vendors, who 9 times out of 10, has the same razors I passed up the week before. He sometimes has some new ones, which I buy up, then I get to see the "rejects" for the next month or so. But today, in the center of his table, was a blue tub filled with NOS blades on card. 23 packs. 14 Tungsten Plus's, 3 Tungsten's, and 6 Wilkinson Swords with Chromium. Bought them all. Did I do good?

(Note: The pack open at the bottom still has all it's blades. I checked with my loupe, and I could see three on one side and two on the other.)

Jim, I think those are to hold the long wooden q-tips & cotton balls. At least that's what I commonly see in them.

You know, when I read that, I realized I have some of thos long wooden swabs in my computer desk. They fit very well. I think the cotton ball ones are a lot wider, so you can get your hand in there.
