Today is 01-25-2025, Shave Report Day 25 - 2025

Razor:
1957 Gillette Flair Super Speed
Blade: Rembrandt Blade, Made in Holland, Day 1 use.
Soap/Cream: Cremo Classic Citrus (Secret Sent)
Bowl: N/A
Brush/Instrument: Fingers
Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel

Switched today to using my, 1957 Gillette Flair Super Speed. Doing three pass Shave, With, Against, & Across the Grain, using a Rembrandt Blade, Made in Holland, there was almost zero blade feel, blade just glided, removed Beard. Will make an interesting observation as people have spoken of their Lambda Athena’s, almost NO blade feel, this is what my experience was this AM with this Vintage Gillette, and Blade used.

Shave fell a tad to a 9.9 as I payed more attention to Technique, reaped rewards, not BBS, but still DamFine Shave. This was the First time using this Blade, sent to test by a Badger & Blade Member @Grundi.

Still working on same Tube of Cremo Citrus, personally still get NO TRUE CITRUS Sent IMHO. Being fair there could be Citrus aroma in my dreams, but it is not a strong in your face scent that yells Citrus. Positive of Cremo is it does leave face soft post Shave use, but don’t smell like Classic Citrus anything. Started Tube of Cremo 01/08/2025 will be interested to see how long its lasts?

Old Vintage Gillette’s, are good Razor’s, still working well enough to put a big smile on my face. These Old Vintage 1957 Gillette Flair Super Speed are an underestimated work horse, could be almost Grail Razor at 65+ years young. I am a Vintage Gillette Junkie, they work well with Sharp New Quality Blade IMHO.

Shave fell a tad short to be a 10.0. let’s say almost a TEN. Results were because I payed more attention to Technique, reaped rewards, not BBS, but still DamFine Shave. This was the Second time using this Blade, sent to test by a Badger & Blade Member @Grundi.

Still working on same Tube of Cremo Citrus, personally still get NO TRUE CITRUS Sent IMHO. Today is 01-27-2025, Shave Report Day 27 - 2025

Razor:
1957 Gillette Flair Super Speed
Blade: Rembrandt Blade, Made in Holland, Day 3 use.
Soap/Cream: Cremo Classic Citrus (Secret Sent-less IMHO)
Bowl: N/A
Brush/Instrument: Fingers
Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel

Using my, 1957 Gillette Flair Super Speed. Did a Shave with 3 passes, With, Against, Across the Grain, using a Rembrandt Blade, Made in Holland, there was some blade feel on pass #1, then blade just glided, removed Beard. Will make an interesting observation as people have spoken of their Lambda Athena’s, almost NO blade feel, this is what my experience was this AM with this Vintage Gillette, and Blade used.

Again shave fell a tad short off the achieving a perfect, rating would be 9.7. Results were because I payed more attention to Technique, reaped rewards, not BBS, but still Good Shave. This was the Third time using this Blade, sent to test by a Badger & Blade Member @Grundi. Thinking this Blade may be two more days then done.

Still working on same Tube of Cremo Citrus, personally still get NO TRUE CITRUS Sent IMHO. Being fair there could be Citrus aroma in my dreams, but it is not a strong in your face scent that yells Citrus. Bowl: N/A
Brush/Instrument: Fingers
Extra Stuff: Witch Hazel

Using my, 1957 Gillette Flair Super Speed. Today’s Shave was better then yesterday a tad short off the achieving a perfect, rating would be 9.9. Results were because I payed more attention to Technique, reaped rewards, not BBS, but still Good Shave. This was the Forth time using this Blade, sent to test by a Badger & Blade Member @Grundi. Thinking this Blade should have more days usage.

Still working on same Tube of Cremo Citrus, personally still get NO TRUE CITRUS Sent IMHO. Being fair there could be Citrus aroma in my dreams, but it is not a strong in your face scent that yells Citrus.
