Still in after day one! Delayed post of New Year’s Day Shave rated 10/10 using:
Superb shave this morning. First time using my new RR Beehive monster synth (Christmas gift from my wife). It is a fantastic lather maker with a very full and pillowy feel on the face, almost silvertip badgery. I continue to be impressed with everything Razorock.
The Edel duck fat soap is quite nice with excellent slickness that yields wonderful protection. What a coincidence @ChriWilson!
This was my mildest Lupo 72 shave, likely because I'm dialing it in (and the soap might have helped). It was still super close though.
The Super Silver was excellent, but this one shows a few signs of age in the middle of the blade away from the edges.

- Post shave: Thayer’s Coconut Witch Hazel followed by Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood splash and Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood balm

I don’t remember, and to be honest… I’m too lazy to read all the rules but, are trades amongst members participating in GRUYERE ok?
There’s a restock period, I know. Only products that I need is some blades. They have been ordered however, I have a razor that I’d like to get out of my den. I would like to trade this razor for a bottle of Floid genuine a/s. I tried a sample last year and love it. So… here’s the razor. If it’s aloud, I would trade for a bottle of Floid a/s. It’s a handsome razor for sure but, it just doesn’t work for me.
That doesn't sound like it falls within the spirit of the GRUYERE as you don't need Floïd, you just want it.

Well, I do need some a/s. I certainly don’t have enough to last me this year. Just thought I’d knock out two birds with one stone. Get rid of a razor that I know I won’t use but, if it doesn’t fall within the guidelines, I’d be happy to post elsewhere.
A beautiful razor. I'm sure someone will easily accept your WTT offer over in the BST section (it's not a GRUYERE rule but a standard B&B rule...). In any case give the group a heads up, perhaps someone is sitting on a stash of Floid hidden in the storage room of the spaceship...

It is in the spirit of GRUYERE not to spend money on shaving. And trades are designed to that effect.
@Bsamps - trades are totally fine and you need to post them through the BST. You can at your discretion limited the trade to GRUYERE participants or leave it open. You decide who you will trade with. As long as it’s BST and not here in the GRUYERE thread.
