Glad to see you're not in the Clown House yet.

I looked back at some of those early problems I had - lather and shaving around the adam's apple - things that are fairly common to most. When I started SE shaving, the same things came around and every time I try a new soap, the lather issues creep up again. Now I am starting to experiment with the inexpensive creams, and here comes the lather issue again!
