I hestitated trying this product for a very long time. I was very happy with my beloved Harris Milk, and the reports of oily skin with this stuff gave me pause. Well, The original Harris Milk is gone, and its Green Pond replacement has bit the big one also. Being a milky kind of guy I finally broke down and bought a bottle of the Musgo Balsam.
Now I regret waiting. This is a really good product. It has the faint scent of Musgo Real A/S splash, but doesn't linger. It is a bit more moisturizing than the Harris Milk, but I like that. I haven't had problems with greasiness at all, and my face has felt perfectly moisturized.
Now for the best part. This product is the single best killer of razor burn that I have ever come across. I mean it turns it off like a switch. I deliberately scraped away at my face to get killer burn just to see if I was nuts. Nope. It just laughs at irritation and provides your face some wicked moisture.
If I had to gripe at all, it would be that the beeswax in the product dries-down to have a bit of an odd smell. I have encountered this before in some other products that use the wax; it is hard to describe, but it is sort of a stale smell. It is faint, but in the spirit of full disclosure, I'll mention it here.
