There are three different razors in the listing. There is a Super Speed pic too.
When I asked, the seller said the FatBoy and Super Speed razors were not actually part of the sale.
***oops....typed too slow***

Thanks, I knew it was some differences but needed reassurance, THANKS:thumbup:

so what is the difference between the 1949 and 1950 executives? or is there a difference at all besides a cream colored blade case and a blue blade case? if thats the case anyone could just switch them up and call them which ever one they wanted lol

this is the other one that i made my price range on. it has the blue blade dispencer but it doesnt have the same extra blade cases that mr-razor has pictured... ugh too many different pictures lol

after reading my post again it dawned on me that it was a stupid question. 1950 would obviously have a date code. idk what i was thinking when i posted this question...... i wasnt thing which was the prob lol

maybe i wasnt wrong..... i just looked on mr-razors site again to take a closer look but the picture he posted of the 1950 executive doesnt have a date code. i dont see why they wouldnt put a date code unless they were just using up the razors from 1949. so then the only difference is the blade packs

I thought that the cream dispensers on the executive sets said 'Dispenser' on them, instead of Speedpak. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can come set me straight.

Date coding on razors did not start until 1951 . . . so a 1950 would not have one.

Previous to date coding, the only way to accurately date a razor is by using the date codes for the blades that came with it, which is how Achim has dated his pre-date code sets.

Check out the blades when you get the razor . . . that will tell us for certain.

On Super Speed, Aristocrat, and Tech razors the abbreviation of the word Package to Pkg is an indicator of manufacture in 1950. From what we know, this change took place in early '50. Of course, with a premium razor such as this one, the razor itself could have been produced in 1949 and packaged/retailed in 1950.

tha date codes did start in 1950 but not until the third quarter. V3 is the beginning of the date codes
