What's Your Latest 100 Blade Purchase, And Why?

I liked the Dorco blades so I bought 100.The Kingever blades are new blades from China.
I really like those packaging of Dorco ST300 blades that are in the Philippines. Unfortunately whyle Dorco ST300 blades I'm not so sure I like, better Dorco Titan them work best on me. So I breathed a sigh of relief, I'm safe I won't buy any more ST300 blades.

If you want let us know about the new Chinese Kingever blades.

The Lather Maestro
l thought I was done buying blades, I probably have a lifetime supply at this point, including about 500 vintage Schick Plus Platinums and Gillette Spoilers, probably 750 of Gillette Blacks left, 400 or so Nacets, and a couple hundred Gillette Silver Blue and Gillette Platinum (Russian, AKA Swedes) and figured I was out of the blade buying game.

Then @Dtownvino told me about the Dorco Prime blades made in Viet Nam. I didn't need blades, but Mike is one of a small handful of people on the board who when he suggests something, it gets my attention. I grabbed 100 here, ten cents a blade! I thought those cheap days for premiere blades were gone.

I think it is my favorite, current-production blade, and it answers the question I had, "Why can't they make a blade as good as the old Schick Plus Platinums today? What technology did we lose?" Now there are definitely sharper blades than these Dorcos. There may be more comfortable blades than these Dorcos, but I can't say as I've tried them. I get a full week out of my vintage blades, and the Swedes, but everything else I use two blades per week.

The Dorcos are a full-week blade. Others have used them longer, but I don't see any reason to use any blade longer than a week, especially at ten cents a pop. I believe these Dorco Primes are as good a blade as I've tried, including the old Polsilvers. If I had only a shave den full of these Dorcos I would be happy. I kinda like having the Swedes and the vintage for variety, but these blades ... Well, I'm getting a daily, effortless BBS shave with no irritation with these and superior lather products. Try them.

I recently got 100 Personna Comfort Coated from Beauty Ways to see how they are. They are laser engraved with no date code, and quite sharp. After a litmus test measurement this afternoon, I went and cleaned them out, as they were only $9/100.
All of my boxes say 2020 accutech and have the address and everything and talk about the computer controlled honing process and the quality guarantee....the address is kinda cool. 1 Razor Blade way lol thats a good deal though. My price was about average. Its good to find a good deal though. Im just glad I didnt pay 20 and up per box....i think thats crazy.

Dorcos have been my favorite blade for years. I realize 8-12 good shaves from my made in Vietnam Prime (STP300 &301) and Stainless (ST300&301) blades. Primes have an extra coating of teflon versus the stainless. 300 vs. 301 just means cardboard vs. plastic tuck of the same blades.

We have a whole thread on Dorco blades, with posts from 2021 to just this month, linked below that you may want to take a look at. Glad you found these.
