The 1.1 head feels a bit slimmer than the 2.0 but the 2.0 feels a tad smoother to me on the shave.
Efficiency I'd say is equal!
Both are very good!

So, no need for me to panic that I’ve missed out by not having the GC2.II?
Absolutely not!
They aren't different enough (I believe) with the exception of the finish and the handles.
The 1.1 is more industrial and the 2.0 isn't!

The Mara is a no-nonsense razor. Built like a tank, easy to use, very safe, with high comfort and modest efficiency. With a sharp blade it would make an ideal daily driver. Because it’s so carefree it really allows you to focus on the enjoyment of the shave. BBS-

I can’t comment because I’ve never tried a 1.1.
@Teutonblade every time I see the beach brush it gives me a brief escape from my mountainous prison and takes me back to to my past Caribbean trips. Love this brush!
Funny you should say that, Zach. It evokes that same type of memory for me as well.
