Please tell us more about this Russian tea you drink!

it is a catch-all phrase for spiced tea mixed with orange juice.currently i use an herbal tea mix,1 or 2 english breakfast tea bags and a large regular tea bag.place in a stove top percolator.the herbal tea mix and cake spice(cinnamon,nutmeg,allspice,coriander and ginger) mix go into the perc basket,the bags go into the water along with 3-4 whole cloves .bring to a boil for a few minutes,then drop to a simmer.pour a mug 2/3---3/4 full,top off with o.j.you can let this simmer for a long time just replace the water as you drink the tea.it is great during cold season.you can also drop a half of an orange into the pot and omit the o.j.

My mom makes this stuff with powdered tea, lemonade, and tang, amongst other ingredients.

Doesn't really taste anything like a traditional tea (much, much stronger in taste for one thing) but it's delicious.
