Pimped B&B LE Grelot. Not mine, but I made the scales The olivewood had a brass liner for more stability.

Le Grelot with oiled bocote scales - also not mine

Heres mine:

standard 1/4 grind with dark horn scales with ivory inlay from an ancient Marshes Pond works razor that was beyond salvage. Nice brass wedge that helps balance the hefty blade.

<sigh> You guys are killing me with these gorgeous blades!

and I really dig that inlay Seraphim!

Guess I'll have to add a Le Grelot to the list now...

They are all beautiful, but that red handle; wow!

Unfortunately, as beautiful as it is it's seen minimal use due to the Zowada and my Ellis "Wapi" regrind being seemingly duct taped to my hand at the moment.

My two Le Grelots. One "standard" with white plastic scales (as if the word standard applies to such a superlative razor). The other is a vintage 6/8.

Does anyone know whether the Le Grelot razors that are sold on http://theenglishshavingcompany.com/ have that thumb recess, or not?

AFAIK the ones from theenglishshavingcompany.com are the same as from rasurpur.de. They are full hollow and don't have the same thumb rest.
