Tried some Ron Abuelo 12 year old rum. Very, very smooth. Was great on the rocks or mixed with cola and lime.

I have had the base version and the seven year-old. I will have to try the 12 year-old.
This may be my all around favorite rum label. Fairly priced with lots of character. Mixes well, at least at the lower price points, unlike many premium brands to my taste.

Ok - I am as I type I am sipping the 12 year and it is very, very smooth. For a sipping rum, this is my favorite so far.
