Some German Dishes

Went to the Walzwerk restaurant in SF.

Kartoffelpuffer (potato pancakes) with sour cream and apple sauce:



Sauerbraten (savory pot roast) with red cabbage with apples and bread dumplings:




Rouladen (filled rolls/roulades) with Spätzle (tiny egg pasta dumplings)and red cabbage with apples:

Sehr schön. Was haben sie sonst noch?

Die haben Kalten Hund (cold dog) als Dessert.

Karlsruhe is full of them.

That rouladen dish looks exactly right.

Sounds like you've got a Handel on the situation.

Those look incredible. Our best German restaurant shut down a few months ago...

Fine looking dishes. I enjoy making rouladen at home and Maggi Seasoning is a must too.
