Hello all, I am currently in a beard phase (short, but a beard nonetheless) and was wondering if I need to do a full stropping just for shaping up my beard? It's mostly stubble removal around the outside of the beard rather than a full face shave so I feel like it would be bad for the razor to strop the normal amount? Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Hi, and welcome. Proper stropping should not harm your razor.
Any use will dull the blade. Stropping is the cue for that, so use = stropping. Enjoy.
Hi, as said you should strop.
But after shaving let it rest for 24 hours minimum and don´t strop afterwards.
So it stays sharp for longer. It´s been said that stroping a day before the shave is also a good thing.
I´am not 100% shure about the benefits, but you should try it, I do it some times.
