Anyone use a Sea sponge

Pick up one yesterday at the coop and was wondering if any one use one..

I haven't but I'm excited to hear how you make out.

Tried it out on my face did good..Got some smaller ones on the way for just using my face.

Once you get them into water, there really soft..

A biggish one is useful (and fun) in a bathtub; not very useful in the shower.

I started a thread like this right after I joined this bunch of enablers....

I was looking for a new sponge for my wife to use and was directed to a great site in Florida.
The sponges are amazing. Huge and crunchy when dry; huge and squishy when wet.....

I haven't tried this. But I use a big old cool whip container to fill up with water. Before, I get into the shower and wetting down.Then I turn off the water. Using the container as wash basin, while also saving water..

I do something similar called a "Navy shower" where I turn water on to get wet, turn water off, lather up, rinse. uses about half the water of a full shower. This way the water is not running while you are lathering and shampooing.

I've only used sea sponges for painting.
