Horse Hair / Ever-Ready 150

Well I stuffed a Ever-Ready 150 with a 23.5 Brown Horse Hair knot .
Works Great ,Very Nice knot

Is that a sheng? I have one that I'm almost done with and it had brown horse originally so I want to do horse again. That one looks good.

That knot looks good set in the Ever-Ready. How large is the opening for the knot? Also, what's the loft set at and how's the backbone? Seeing yours, I am tempted to grab a couple of those knots.

The knot opening is set at 24mm or the size of a U.S. quarter.The loft is 50mm. I had to open up the handle for 24mm
The Backbone is just perfect, nice splay and very soft tips . not floppy at all. I used a white one from there and was not happy ,to floppy. make sure you get the brown knot

Thanks for the info, Graydog. I like the look of the large knot in the small 150. I just ordered one to give it a shot.

I have two inbound - can't wait to put them in a couple of handles waiting for a knot! I had the blonde one and hated it - just removed it tonight as it was way too floppy.
