Bout to condition my new Johnston & Murphy Oxfords before I wear 'em - anyone have suggestions for a good shoe leather conditioner? (I also have a new David King bag I'd like to do, too, so hopefully it can do other leathers.)

Pecard has excellent leather care products. Their leather lotion works very well for all smooth leather types and their boot oil works great on shoes and belts. Doesn't contain anything that will damage leather or attract insects, not something that can be said for all leather care products. Even museums use their products for preservation. Made in USA.

I have been using Trask conditioner. Seems to work very well lME!
I am always amazed how few of us even use a leather conditioner. It's as important as shoe trees or not wearing a pair of leather shoes two days in a row, yet it's seldom mentioned.

I use Saphir Renovateur as well, great stuff but needs to be applied outside unless you want to fumigate your home

I don't find it offensive but it make my dogs want to lick my shoes.

I do not recommend pepperoni grease.
