Fake Laban Pen?

I was given this pen the other day by someone gracious.
it's beautiful and writes really well so whether it is fake or not, it's a great little piece.
There are no markings on it at all, which makes me suspicious. The Nib says Laban which makes me curious

So if anyone has any info on this wonderful pen I would be grateful ! Thanks!

Probably real. I think they're from China or Taiwan to begin with so, unlike a Montblanc, I'm not sure if a knock-off would be worthwhile. But there are fake Hero pens.

I can't help you with an answer, but if it writes nice and looks nice, then what's to worry? Congrats, on the new pen!

searching online a genuine laban needs an "L" at the top of the clip and "laban" under the end of the clip, there are some great pics on peyton street pens. under the asia tab. looks like you have a fake, not to worry there are many fakes that are awesome writers.

But you're absolutely right, and this thing is one of those awesome writers. It's excellent, in fact, it is probably one of the smoothest writers I've got, right next to my vanishing point.
