Anyone take advantage of the Allen Edmonds Anniversary sale?

I couldn't help it, and pulled the trigger on a pair of walnut Mcallister's last night.

Anyone else make an acquisition during this sale?

Stopped at the Show Bank in Port Washington yesterday, all shoes I had set my eyes on were not available in my size. One pair was supposedly located in Nashville, but they couldn't find it anymore. Bummer. Just picked up some laces.

The best deals I find are on Ebay, from estate sales or close-outs. I've been an AE customer for many many years, but now I like Adlens and the old Florsheim Imperials with the green internal stitching. When you find those brands at 30-40% of retail it's very hard to say, no.

I did as well. Just received a pair of Black Strandmoks delivered yesterday and wearing today. Very comfortable, even on 1st wear.

Today I went back and got a pair of Bellevue Chukkas in golden-brown chromexcel.

I got a pair of LGAs in Walnut at my local outlet store. I'm going back today to see what other damage to my wallet I can do
