What's new

SE Valet PIF

I believe the last man to use this is no longer with us, but if you are brave enough to try just say I'm in. If you get it I would like you to use it and post a report of the shave. You can use a spined blade with the spine removed or Feather makes a spineless blade. I will draw the winner before friday. Only the brave need apply.

These things look so cool, I've wanted one for awhile. I would have been in, but just found one at an antique shop a couple weeks ago. So I guess what I'm saying is Awesome PIF, but NOT IN.

Here is a spined blade a despined blade, and how you load it.

The type of blade shown should not be used.
Looks like a box cutter blade you have in there.

I'm tempted by your extremely cool offer but I must say I AM NOT IN. (SO tempted)

For or anyone interested, Removing spines from GEM blades is easy. If you hold the spine below the word GEM with a pair of pliers or an a vise (pinch lightly, you won't need much effort) and use a pair of needle nose pliers or clamps to grab the thin side. Then just pry upward from one side then the other, it will slide right out.
