What's new

What was your first brush? What made you buy a second?

Burma Shave. Not the world's best brush but serviceable.
Tweezerman...you think I'd learn....

From there to an Omega 49. Happiness! I've bought lots of brushes since then, there's never been so large a jump in quality as between the Tweezer and the 49.

First was Parker Chrome Silvertip from Amazon. I bought it because it was the cheapest silvertip I could really find at the time. I felt like I had to have a silvertip after watching the Mantic vids. Now, I know that I do not want a silvertip. I changed brushes after reading about backbone, scrubbiness, etc here at B&B.

My first brush was a Burma Shave I bought 20-25 years ago and used daily up to last Christmas when I got a Parker set with the 96 and pure badger brush. I was using a brush before I knew what wet shaving was . Man, I was doing it right squirting Edge on the brush and face lathering, then take it off with an Atra razor.
