I'm a relative newbie to wet shaving but recently discovered my great-grandfather's straight razor and shaving brush while cleaning out some old boxes. I had the blade re-honed and have been learning the art over the past several months. I still use a DE safety razor frequently as I'm slowly mastering straight razor shaving.
I found this forum while looking up information on how to lather, various soap and equipment recommendations, etc. and have been lurking for quite some time now. Figured it was time to say hello.
