It was the plain ichimi togarashi not a spice mix, enough to add something while letting the scallops and calamari be the main flavour.Hey, this is B&B- you're required to tell us what type of togarashi was used. Was it shichimi, nanami, or just your basic run of the mill ichimi togarashi?
I think a nanami togarashi would have gone nice with a citrus note.
correct me if I'm wrong ichimi togarashi is just ground chili flakes. shichimi is seven spices and nanami similar to shichimi but a different amount of the same ingredients with more towards a citrus
