I used my G-Bar last night and got a nice shave.

It's a good shaver, that's for sure. What I like about it is the weight, and it's built like a tank,

Yes it and the twist open Micromatic are both TANKS!

Thanks for this! The G Bar has been the most difficult SE for me to learn how to use. I always end up with burn on my neck that doesn't happen with a 1912, Shovel Head, or Micromatic. I enjoyed watching your technique.

The G bar is a different animal from rest of the GEM Line.

I agree with that. When I hold it in my hand, to me it seems very modern in design. I could see someone coming out with a similar design today.
