My Barber's brush

Last Saturday I got my hair cut and my barber showed me his grandfathers shaving brush. It was an old Made Rite but was broke in half and the knot was shot. He ask if I could restore it for him, and I was honored to do it. I forgot to take a before photo, but it turned out pretty nice.

Just curious - from what I have seen here in India, barbers prefer a longer loft - isn't that the case over there?

Barbers here can not use brushes on the customers, this was his grandfather personal brush.

Excellent outcome! And I love the blonde boar knot. Where did you source the knot? And were the white and green portions of the handle separated, or did you have a major crack to repair? If it was cracked, I can't see it!
