Walnut Custom Scales

Here is my offering from the shop today, a Puma special 89 rescaled in walnut.

Nice job, the only thing is I think I would not end the scales so boxy at the wedge area, they look better with a taper.

I've been looking at some walnut scraps in my own shop pretty hard.

Yours look very nice.

I've been trying to use up some sycamore that I have right now.
I also have some iron wood that may or may not take dye.

I'm really liking the wood scales on my razors. Plus, it takes so little wood to make scales that I'll probably have plenty just in my scrap pile.
