Hey, thanks for your helpful suggestion. Yes, I have both the QCS Rose Otto soap and cream; I specialize in rose products. I have the same trouble with the hard soap as I had last night with the cream. I shall certainly try to use less water as a possible solution. More product on the brush = the key, I feel sure. I love the aroma, so I'll persevere. Thanks again.

Excellent shave this morning with an old Tillotson and the Vitos. Really nice tallow-rich lather this with a nice mild almond scent. Have a good 'un folks.
