It's more of museum of shaving items

I'm new to de shaving. I have about 6 different soaps (mostly because I didn't like the first couple of soaps) 4 different shave balms, one brush and one razor. I do see getting another razor or two, maybe a couple more soaps to try out. But I have to admit, I just don't get that kind of behavior. How could anyone have that much shaving stuff. I'm sorry if I am offending anyone, but that video is a disease. We joke about this being an addiction, but I now can see, it can be serious problem. Maybe this will be me in the future, but I sure hope not. Again, please I hope I am not offending anyone. It is just very strange to me.
Yeah, I see your point. But collecting is a weird thing. As I said, I found the video (and the collection) waaaay too much, but I can also understand the heavy collecting vibe. There are some people who are obsessive completists.
What would the shave den guy think about my 600-book collection of volumes just on Roman church art and architecture?
Do you really have a 600 book collection? I think that's cool.
What about Roman Catholic Churches ?
Rome is by far my favorite city. I love guidebooks, and there isn't a good guidebook in English on just the Churches of Rome. So. About ten years ago, I started to collect material. Now I have, like I said, 600+ books on the art and architecture of Roman churches. It's a huge but finite subject, and it will keep me busy for years. Bliss.
The churches have so much fabulous art in them - paintings, frescoes, mosaics, sculpture - and often the architecture itself is just stunning. Once I saw Borromini and Caravaggio in person, in churches, there was no going back.
What are the chances you'd be willing to pass on what you paid for such a box... I have a lead on the same one here locally and am wondering what a good deal would be?
