Astra Superior Platinum DE vs Astra Superior Stainless DE

I noticed a big difference, to me the SP is smoother and more forgiving, and the SS is rough on my skin and gives me nicks and cuts.
( I don't like or use the SS anymore obviously)

I've been using the Astra SS for two weeks now and it gives a great shave with no nicks or rash.

Interesting how different people get different results with same blade.

I have Astra SS that I used a few weeks ago and used it 3 times in my Merkur 37c slant and was great shave. Yesterday I used Astra SP in my R41 and also a great shave. Should have 100 show up today I ordered last week. I think they are both really good and the only difference I can tell is the Astra SS costs more.

Both are decent.

I would rate the SS higher for me than the SP. The SS is smoother fresh out of the pack.
