Semogue Italian Barber Brush

AAAAAAAARRGH!!!!
I was flicking the water of of my brand new Semogue Italian Barber Brush and it slipped out of my hands hitting the bathtub, cracking the paint off the bottom of the brush. I am sooo stupid.
The paint is just chipping, peeling, flaking off now,...Any thoughts on what to do?? Toss it in the bin?

Save the knot, buy a new brush, use the knot for something custom!

Paint the bare, chipped areas with nail polish to seal the wood, and then create a great story about how it saved your life while hunting, sky diving, or some such fiction.

what's it made out under the paint? nice wood by any chance? if so you could take all the paint off, stain it and seal it. you could maybe turn it into one of their wooden unpainted brushes.

Did the same thing with my 1305. Used it as an excuse to buy another 1305 but left the chipped one in my rotation as a reminder not to do that again! Still a great brush.

Like the 1305, your brush isn't truly broken in until there's a good chip in the painted handle.
