Bought 2 brushes today.

Well, Cyber Monday hit me hard. I've been a one brush guy for about a year with my $9 Omega boar but I've floundered. Picked up the following:

So, for any of you who own or have experience with the above brushes, how excited should I be? I've never used a D01 3-band before, although I have had experience with Shavemac's normal silvertip.

My goodness Scott you have indeed gone quite some time with that trusty Omega... ( although you have seen your share of brushes I remember)... Nice snags... Both look delightful!

I have both: a QED horn (Kimson) brush and two D01 shavemacs. They are both great brushes. The QED will have more funk to work out but also will feel softer on the face. I prefer the QED for the softer face feel. YMMV.

You will love the QED. For luxurious lathering, nobody can beat QED/Kimson's combination of supreme softness and good density. Here's a pic of my new Kimson which just arrived on Saturday.
