Gin and tonic tonight! (LOTH is visiting her Mom, so I am on my own!)

Last night - house Chianti with a nice bowtie pasta.

I've been craving Gin lately for some reason, I'm normally a Vodka guy. Picked up a bottle of Sapphire Bombay East and some nice Tonic water and a lime. Some Gins really put me off but I really liked this.

Just back from the supermarket, Fat Bird Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc on offer at "only" SGD26. That'll do for me.

Manhattan with Alberta Premium Rye and Dolin

I'll be having five ounces of eighty proof.

That's five ounces of Imperial Whiskey, a Whiskey from Kentucky.

This whiskey is cheap, but it doesn't taste that bad and it doesn't give me a headache.

I'll have these five ounces at about eleven thirty p. m. , then I'll be ready for bed.

Classic daiquiri: 2 oz Mount Gay Eclipse rum, juice of a lime, 2 sugar cubes in enough water to dissolve them, ice to fill a rocks glass. Good ratios!
