My first thought was "Where's the gun???" J-frame in a pocket holster as suggested or a compact 1911 in a good IWB would work.

Yes, EDC is the term for what those who carry a gun (at least on the forums). My EDC is a Ruger LCP, now what else do you carry at 9 ounces packs that much of a punch? Pepper spray?

I first thought that was what the thread was about. I was carrying a S&W 342, a DAO j frame, ti lite, scandium framed, titanium cylinder. The only steel parts are barrel liner, and internal workings. Weighs 10.4 ounces and in 38 special hurts to shoot, I am retiring it and going to a sig P 238 .380 miniature 1911 type, maybe a barely longer P938 in 9mm if I can find the version I want.
