Has anyone ever heard of Gillette CONTRA razor blades?

I inherited a large razor collection from my father and have been selling some of the pieces off. I have learned a lot during this process and have seen/researched some pretty neat stuff. But this one has me stumped. No amount of goggling have I been able find one occurrence of Gillette CONTRA double edge razor blades. Here is a picture of the set with the blades in question. The box is unopened. I just find it crazy that there is NOTHING on this item anywhere. Strange from a company as big and as collected as Gillette. Any of you experts ever heard of these blades?

Never heard of Contras, but that's quite a nice collection.

Trust me it does have the Gillette logo on the back of the box plain as day. I've taken so many pictures of this collection for people I just got lazy. If another picture might help with ID....I'll put it up.
