Accords: Marine, Woody, Floral, Herbal, Powdery
Notes: Virginia Cedar, Salt, Myrtle, Seaweed

I find Acqua di Sale to be more feminie than unisex. I like the air of seaweed and sea salts, but its a bit sweet and floral for my taste. Replace some of the sweet florals with some dry woods and I could really get into this. After 4 hours it begins to fade a bit, but it lasts a full 10 hours. I would like to try layering this with Slumberland's Norne or Olympic Orchids Olympic Rainforest in hopes that the added seaweed and sea salts would give impression of walking along the shores of the Olympic Peninsula.

I think this is a one of the most beautiful lavenders I have had the chance to try. It's strong and opulent, more of an 'adult' scent which is not the case with the most of the stuff I have. It's very masculine and with a old school fougere added value. I would recommend a try to anyone who even likes lavenders.

Thanks Ivan. The D'Orsay Arome 3 sounds like one I want to try.
