There's a cool HD show on the Science Channel called How It's Made. They take HD cameras into factories and such and show all the steps as they make various things, from canoes to stuffed olives to watches, etc.
I recently ran across an episode fetauring the making of game calls, mayonnaise, DE razor blades and safety razors. It was pretty cool seeing all the machinery and processes involved in making Crystal blades and I think the safety razor was a Merkur Futur.
The show format is pretty simple. Just a pleasant narrator matter-of-factly explaining what's going on while they show gorgeous HD shots of workers actually making stuff.
