My UK Parker Duofold has arrived.
In original box with instructions.
It's a very nice green colour.
Loaded it up with PR American Blue and it works fine.
The nib is more flexible than I expected. Very nice indeed.
I got an Eversharp at an antique store last weekend where the owner was about ready to pull the nib for gold scrap. Jeez, I'm glad I rescued it in time, these Skyline nibs are usually very nice writers and good nibs are always in high demand. This is an early model, probably a 1941, identified by the lack of a breather tube and visulated section although it's a bit ambered.
14 Karat medium nib (kinda stiff but not a manifold). I dipped it and it writes nicely.
I may go for a gold filled cap since this guy is missing his clip. I've luckily got loads of Skyline parts somewhere around here.
