Decided to try my new Vie Long Silvertip Badger Olivewood Shaving Brush this morning and was very pleased with the performance. Got some GFT Almond SC out for the inaugural run.
The brush performed far better than the AOS brush that I have been using up until today. The Vie Long is soft tipped with medium backbone and good density. The bowl lather went well and the face application was very gentle but solid.
The olivewood handle is nicely crafted and felt good in the hand. Not too big and not too small. As this is not a popular shaving brush and does not appear in the compendium I have included some manufacturer info.
