Won this Kamisori, can somebody help me identify it

Hi guys,

I won this japanese kamisori blade. The workmanship looks really fine and I feel happy on having won it - but the current owner doesn't know which japanese 'brand' it is..

All he knows is that it was made by a bladesmith named Shizu Sobaru

Sometimes there are things like high quality, first class forging, specially ordered, etc stamped on them but if the makers
name is on it as per pics that's the only "brand" you'll see.

It wasn't really made by Shizu Saburo. Saburo is a famous blacksmith from hundreds of years ago. Some razor smiths have used his name on their razors for branding purposes but he didn't make the razor.

That's a common practice with smiths from the same school or lineage but forgeries were common even centuries ago.
