I have one of those but it has a bit of a frown on it. Once I have put together my honing kit, I might practice on it.
Thanks professor!Nice work! I like the yellow heart.
Nice ones Joe!
I'm really impressed by the size of the Berg
As for the MK#31 it says "Melens Järnaffär" Stockholm, which translates to "Melen's hardware store" i.e a guy who's last name was Melén ran a hardware store in Stockholm.
I looked it up on the Royal Libraries site (www.kb.se) (they've kept all printed things ever to come out in Sweden since the late 1800's) & much of it is digitalized.
Melen had 2 ads scanned, from 1911 & 1914.
His store was located at Vasagatan 9.
That's the very heart of Stockholm city.
Back in those days it was a really rough neighborhood.
No hardware store there today though.
Today it's a part of the banking/financial district during the days & during the night it the place to go if you want some company & are prepared to pay cash for it..
Here's a map:

Dammit, you know I just can't stay away from those postsThanks for the info Jens.
To be honest......I kind of figured you'd be along with some information on that one
So essentially I have an MK 31 that toughed the neighborhood during the days and well....at night be prepared to pay for it's services
EDV Neistrom That I just finished up restoring. Man this took a very impressive edge!
That one turned out nice Joe, sounds like I have to get myself a Neiström too.
