Traveling

When you travel do you just take disposable razors since razor blades are not allowed with carry on items? I know I could check a bag and bring them but checking bags cost money now (except southwest)

I make a few one-night trips with business whereby time is at a real premium. If I only have carry-on luggage with me and I need to shave in the morning, I will take a shave stick, a travel brush and an old 3-blade cartridge razor. With reasonable prep, I can at least look presentable even if I don't feel that way.

Ya I am probably going to do my same routine just with a cartridge razor instead of my DE.

That makes sense to me for an over-nighter. If the trip is going to be longer I will normally have more baggage (ie a check-in piece) and then I will obviously take blades. If you are visiting the same place regularly, you might want to consider leaving some blades there to use on subsequent visits

Possibly just bring the razor and purchase blades when you arrive at your destination.

I usually don't have the greatest luck buying store brand razors
