After TWo Weeks of Wet Shaving

I feel very comfortable with my technique, but I am sure it will continue to improve. I am now getting a slightly better shave than M3. I am doing some XTG passes, but no ATG, as I want to go a t least a month before attempting that.

The last time I did ATG (with a M3), my neck turned into a bloody pulp.

All in all, I am very pleased. I do not plan to change any variables for a few more weeks when I will try different blades. Thank you to the people on this site for getting me to this point. I'm hooked!

BTW, using a 40s style Super Speed with 7 O'clock blades, AOS scentless cream and badger brush.

I am glad to bear about your rogress and you achievment in technique.

How do you like that AOS cream. I have the soap and I love it. Gives a thick rich lather that you can't mess up.

Now just beware the AD.

Congrats with your current progress. Don't be concerned with the ATG issue. Most people can't go ATG, I can't so I modify my technique to get as close to BBS as possible.

We are always glad to hear stories with good outcomes

When I go ATG, I use a very very light hand. Most of the time I can get a great shave with a WTG & XTG pass followed by a little blade buffing and J-hooking in key areas.
