Rythmic Razor The Davies Razor Co.

Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this razor. It is a Rythmic Safety Razor made by The Davies Razor Co. Ltd. Glasgow. An interesting item that I've never come across before.

Does it take standard DE blades?

Does it run on batteries?

I've just taken a standard Wilkinson double edged blade out of it. It seemed to fit fine!

No, no batteries required!

What makes it "rythmic"?

LOL, Good question, nothing as far as I can see, just the brand name!

Does the lower portion of the handle wind up like a Stahly?

Congratulations on a great find. It is one very very cool looking razor. I'd love to see better pictures of it and to hear about how it shaves.

I wonder the razor length and weight. Also, do you have to unscrew the head piece to put a blade in it. It looks like there will be a big blade gap but its hard to tell without a blade inserted.

I haven't posted in quite a while but I just had to say that is one of the best looking razor I have ever seen. Now my search begins!
