John Allan's Slickwater

Has anyone tried this? I had a sample, and it seemed to work well as a pre-shave. Just wondering what other's thoughts were.

Since I sometimes use John Allan's Shave Cream, I had to give the Slickwater a try. I generally don't go for pre-shave preps, and I won't be using this one again. It is slick, also thick and gooey with a large portion of ick. It really doesn't add anything to the shave experience for me. The brushless shave cream works well enough on its own.
