Hey fellow whisky drinkers, there's a guy on Youtube that's made me a whiskey afficianado. Ralfy is a Scotsman who really knows his whiskey. If you haven't viewed his channel, I'd highly recommend you do so. He's a font of wisdom and pretty entertaining to boot.

... I came across Ralfy yesterday, actually, when someone posted his review of Vat 69 here. Very enjoyable reviews. He sure does love his caramel, though.

I'm not sure if connoisseur and macho go together.
How about a slightly different direction. VAT 69? Certainly goes with the Macho image:

Traditional bourbon is good for a change of pace too (got some Wild Turkey 101 in my cabinet).
