2 hours last night of cutting apart the neighbors tree that the wind blew down yesterday. There's a tree service coming in later to take it and the other 3 falls in his yard away.
Well, today will be a weight workout down at the gym... Yesterday was twenty minutes and just over two miles of interval training... And the day before that was a three-mile hike at Amicalola Falls and then some core work. I was feeling lazy today, but hopefully this thread has gotten me motivated...
ETA: And sure enough, I did my workout... great weight workout!
This is my first post in this thread. Hope it makes sense.
This is roughly my routine 3 days/week (Tue, Thu, Sun). I've re-committed, and have stuck to it for a few weeks now. My short-term goal is to add 3 alternating days of cardio to help shed some body fat.
Issues that sometimes complicate my workouts: torn left bicept still healing, tendonitis in the inside of each elbow/crook of arm, lower back strain, occassional inguinal hernia
We have a 10-day vacation next month, and I'm hoping that it doesn't throw me into a tailspin!
trail run appx: 15 - 16mi, avg hr127, max hr 161............a little longer than i wanted but explored some new trails adding extra miles. i might pay for this one
I did about a three and a half mile hill run tonight--uphill out and downhill back. Didn't get started until late, but it was a beautiful run under the full moon. About half a mile into it, I almost stepped on a mongoose that was busy doing something or other on the sidewalk--that gave my adrenaline a boost.
