Your right either way they are very nice razors! I had about 4 days of growth and it cleared it in one pass like a big wedge. That's a very nice razor is it a new production razor? Sorry to sound ignorant I've just never heard of that maker before?

Yeah Flaschner is new production, made in Hungary by an old craftsman, check this

It shaved great! Even came quite nicely honed, it only needed a few laps on CrOx and CBN to pass my personal HHT standard.
For a new production 7/8 I consider $150 a steal.
