The poor blade should have been retired after 2nd shave... otherwise it was a good uneventful shave. Mild blade, aggressive razor works just as well and in some ways better than sharp blade and mild razor.

First shave with this razor, and it is the most aggressive razor I have tried, so took it very easy. But it delivered an outstanding result.

Remains to be seen how it performs with other blades. But as promising a start as is possible.

Rex Konsul w/ Feather Blade and Simpsons Chubby 2 Super Badger w/ Proraso sandalwood preshave and Prorado sandalwood coarse beard shaving cream. The shave was just as smooth as using the Merkur 37C. Except for the build quality I see no difference between the Rex Konsul vs the Merkur 37C in terms of shaving quality.
